Tyra Motorworks is committed to helping first responders safely handle Tyra Motorworks vehicles. In emergency situations, electric vehicles require unique procedures and standards for first responders.
Tyra Motorworks provides the following guides to maximize safety for both rider and rescue professionals. This includes lifting/stabilization guidelines, high-voltage system disabling protocols and proper extraction procedures.
It is important to note that the eFusion series of vehicles are equipped and are powered with Lithium-ion cells, making any battery fire a Class B fire due to the presence of flammable liquids.
Such fires can be effectively extinguished using a Class D L2 Powder Fire Extinguisher, or managed with a Standard ABC Fire Extinguisher or a Standard Dry Chemical Extinguisher in the event of a lithium battery fire.
The first responder resources are currently not available until public release.
